By providing high quality after-school and summer programming to our area youth and teens in Blount County, we are doing whatever it takes to build great futures. The Club’s mission “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens” is evident in every aspect of the way we support members and their families. Specialized group programs such as sewing, gardening, cooking, workforce development for teens, hot meals and snacks, as well as tutoring and homework help are just a few of the ways the Club is making a difference in our community. Over the past year, Boys & Girls Club of Blount County served more than a 100 members from 14 area schools. For some families, the cost for their child to attend the Club is too great. Nearly 75% of our members receive some level of scholarship assistance, including 21% who receive a full scholarship.
