Family Promise Metrowest has been supporting families facing home insecurity for 17 years. The Congregational Church of Needham has been involved for most of those years. FPM services have grown from a simple shelter which rotated among various Congregations to a robust continuum of services to help families avoid becoming unhoused and to be more successful when they move into more permanent housing. They also maintain a shelter in their facility for 3 families with children. The number of families served has grown by about 30% each year over recent years. The need is great.
