Enbridge Canoe for Kids is the largest annual fundraiser supporting Christie Lake Kids' Summer Camp.

Every year, as a part of their year-round programs, low-income children and youth aged 9 - 17 have the opportunity to attend a session of summer camp at their picturesque 88-acre camp on the beautiful Christie Lake (at no cost). For many, Christie Lake Kids Camp is their only trip outside the city and their only opportunity to attend an overnight summer camp.

While kids learn about nature lore and campcraft, as well as how to swim and canoe, they also build confidence, resilience, optimism, and a sense of success. All of Christie Lake Kids programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of children living in low-income households, with all costs, including food, supplies and transportation, fully covered.
