Creative, collaborative, multidisciplinary and critical. That’s Guilford’s brand of liberal arts. It makes this place a perfect setting for our growing Experience Design program. Our students understand - and embody - a diversity of perspectives and capabilities. They engage a broad humanistic education and bring a desire to connect their design training with real needs.

At a time when a liberal arts education gets uncritically presented as irrelevant to career readiness, Guilford XD offers a powerful counterpoint. Our design program was born out of our core strengths and it provides a direct path to meaningful work.

Our intent with this short fundraising effort is to empower the program to build XD internship capacity, recruit great students, and support faculty growth. Anyone who understands experience design and Guilford College knows that there is explosive potential in growing this program.
