Laurel House's Walk a Mile In Her Shoes is a 1-mile walk in which men are asked to walk in red high heel shoes (women bring your sneakers!) to raise awareness about domestic abuse.

Story

We are The Gorgeous Gams and this is our seventh year participating in Laurel House's Walk a Mile in Her Shoes! We are husbands, dads, sons, uncles, brothers, friends and regular guys who are here to support the important mission of The Laurel House and serve as an example for other men and remind our community that domestic abuse is NEVER okay. Please consider walking with us or supporting our campaign. All proceeds raised support the programs of The Laurel House. Thank you!

About the campaign

About the charity

Laurel House advocates for and empowers those impacted by domestic abuse by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs, and resources; as well as preventative education, community training, and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
