Each year, community members gather at Newburyport's Waterfront Park to walk a scenic 3-mile route in honor of victims and survivors of domestic violence, and to raise needed funds for the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center.

Story

For this walk, I'm inviting friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances who help support me in my work at JGCC. This is a circle of joyful souls who have a special place in my heart. I get a big grin on my face when I think of walking with y'all!

About the campaign

About the charity

Our mission is to empower individuals and engage communities to end domestic violence. We offer free, comprehensive services that support adult and child survivors healing from the trauma of domestic abuse; prevention programs in schools; and tools to reduce domestic violence homicides.
