Hello everyone, this JustGiving page is us raising money for Macmillan Cancer Research by completing a Hyroc Race. Below is a little bit about us and the reasons we are competing and raising money.

I have had personal experience with very close family members being affected by cancer but thankfully have made a full recovery. However, many people across the UK are currently being affected by cancer. Any donations will be going to an amazing cause to aid in supporting those with cancer and their family members"

"Hello, my name is Fingal Wilson, and I am competing in a Hyrox race with my friend Matthew Tyas to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research. Cancer has affected so many people in my life I care about, from my great aunt, my girlfriend’s dad, my friend’s mum, my mum, my dad’s parents, the list goes on. I’ve seen firsthand how devastating cancer can be for both those diagnosed and the families around them. These experiences have shown me just how important the support we can give is, as well as the continued need for improvement and innovation in the healthcare provided."

This challenge is our way of giving something back and helping to ensure others facing cancer get the support they need.
