Story
This February we will be skipping for 15 minutes a day to raise money and awareness for the Stroke Association. My Bampy had a stroke in January 2023, and it completely changed his life. Thankfully, he has fared better than most in the wake of this life changing event, however it has had a massive impact on not only him, but my Nan who helps him and the whole family as well. He was helped massively by the Stroke Association, and he really enjoys going to weekly group sessions. They have also helped him with Speech and Language therapy, and have recommended him to many different classes and programmes. The stroke association have been there to help both of my grandparents transition through this difficult stage in their lives and adapt to their new way of life. I know how much the Stroke association have helped, and so I want to raise money to give back, and allow them to continue helping people like my Bampy, because there are 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, and they all deserve to have this help. Any money you can spare would be going to this amazing charity, and every penny helps. Thank you in advance, Sian and Amy.
I'm challenging myself to skip for 15 minutes a day throughout February!
