Story
BlueSky is a proud supporter and sponsor of Gennesaret Free Clinics! This wonderful organization helps individuals in our community get the health and dental services they need so they do not have to go without. Their work is truly not only life-changing - it's life saving. Please help us reach our goal of raising $1,000.00 as a team!
This year has been challenging for so many and that is why we are challenging you. We need your help so we can provide health services to more people who, especially since COVID, are finding themselves having to choose between their health and just being able to live. Our #gfcdayofcaring is all about showing those who feel hopeless that they are not alone.
$20.00 a month for 12 months. That's our challenge to each of you. Can you help? By choosing a monthly donation of $12.00 for one year you literally can save a life! Thank you.

ABOUT GENNESARET:
Gennesaret Free Clinics provides free dignified healthcare to people in need. We serve anyone, for free, who does not have the resources to pay for health services out of pocket
7 clinics
3 Health Recovery Homes for homeless men and women
Women’s screenings and diagnostics for breast and cervical cancer
We make services available where and when our patients can easily access them, with seven clinics at partner churches and nonprofits. These include medical clinics, a dental clinic, and even a mobile medical van at two of our medical clinic sites, so we literally go to where our patients are.
Gennesaret Free Clinics, an Indianapolis 501(c)(3) nonprofit, serves the community through the willingness, dedication, expertise, and hard work of approximately 200 volunteer healthcare professionals and others from our community, along with 12 staff members.
We own three Health Recovery Homes for homeless people who need a place to heal after hospitalization so they do not have to recover in a shelter or on the street. Gennesaret’s other programs include a Women’s Health Services department, and the Jamie Blackwell Loveless Annual Flu Vaccine Clinic.
The idea for Gennesaret Free Clinics began in February 1988 when Dr. James A. Trippi, a local physician, was volunteering at a church soup kitchen. As he watched homeless people move through the line, he began diagnosing their ailments in his head. When he asked if they had medical care, the response he heard was overwhelmingly, “no.” Awakened to the need, Dr. Trippi packed his black bag and brought some of his colleagues together to treat homeless people who spent nights on the pews of a local church. Gennesaret Free Clinics became the first agency in Indianapolis to bring medical care to homeless people.
