Dear Friends and Community members,

Thank you for considering a donation to support us as we embark on our 2nd ride up Mount Mansfield to generate funds for Everybody Wins! Vermont https://everybodywinsvermont.org/.

I began this fundraising effort before our administrative office went underwater in Montpelier. Many books were able to be salvaged other items such as office furniture and fixtures didn’t fare as well. Our office essentially requires a complete makeover.

Everybody Wins! Vermont is an important children’s reading program in both Vermont and New Hampshire. There is a program at Claremont’s Bluff School that I have been a mentor participant at for a few years now. I was then recruited to be on their board.

Everybody Wins! Vermont is important to Claremont’s Bluff students and the program gets approximately $500 from the Claremont School system. To put it in perspective before the pandemic it cost $500 per student/mentor and Bluff school last year had 13 student mentor pairs. That puts the cost of the program at $6500 for the Bluff School alone.

This program matters not only to the students who participate but their families, brothers and sisters. This is an opportunity for those who wish to participate. Student’s give up their lunch breaks. Every child has a choice and hopefully we can provide a mentor for every child who chooses to participate.

We need your support now more than ever if we are going to move into the future. Please give whatever you can and know that you are helping to keep something special going in our community.
