American Friends of Cecily's Fund raises funds in support of our founders' (Cecily's Fund UK) education, post-school training and peer health programs in Zambia, where more than a million children have been orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS. For some of the poorest children supported by Cecily's Fund in the capital, Lusaka, we provide a lunch program at our pre-K through 4th grade community school, and for the children who have moved on from there to 5th-12th grade schools and still receive our help. We also train 50 of our High School graduates per year to give valuable health and wellness classes to their teenage peers in school classrooms.
