Why your donation matters

We know that this time of year can be difficult for families, particularly those who have lost someone special to an eating disorder. Parents like Jane and Robert who will be missing their daughter Mel this Christmas.

Mel died last year of heart failure at the age of 30, after suffering from an eating disorder for 17 years.

Her mum Jane (pictured below with Mel) says "I dream of having a house full of family and friends at Christmas, but whatever happens our darling daughter Mel will always be missing." . We provide a lifeline but we can't do it without your help. By donating to our Christmas appeal you will help us make a difference to people who need support to beat their eating disorder.
