Case study: donations in action

"Ryan is doing well - he really enjoyed the workshop day at Changing Faces. He was telling me all about the things he had learned on the day, some of which we had worked on here at the NHS, but it obviously made a much bigger impact discussing it with other young people. It shows that joining other young people in a similar position to you is extremely helpful. I often get young people with a physical illness wanting to meet other children who have the same illness. Ryan also found the part of the day that focuses on how to cope with other peoples' reactions really helpful.

I know he would love to come again to any workshops you have, so please let me know.

I think you have been great and the groups have been helpful to both of my patients who now attend Changing Faces. Keep up the good work!"
