100 HOLES. ONE EPIC DAY. TWO AGEING GOLFERS.
On 17th June 2026, Raymond Gillon and Dave Boyter will attempt to play 100 holes of golf in a single day at Anstruther Golf Course — that's roughly 11 rounds plus one additional hole, all before sundown.
Two men. One golf course. A combined age north of 100. What could possibly go wrong?
"We're not as young as we used to be — but we're still daft enough to try it."
This is no leisurely Wednesday round. We're talking blisters, dodgy knees, an alarming number of holes and a suspicious quantity of energy bars. Every step, every swing, every muttered expletive on the 99th hole is for three incredible causes that are close to our hearts.
Please dig deep and sponsor us — your support will keep us going when our legs are telling us to stop and the 19th hole is calling.

Every penny raised goes directly to Maggie's, Macmillan and CHAS - three charities doing extraordinary work for people who need it most. No matter how small, your donation means the world.
This 100 Holes Golf Challenge is one of a series of fundraising events being taken on in 2026 by Matt, Wendy, Dave and Raymond - each pushing themselves in their own way to raise as much as possible for Maggie's, Macmillan and CHAS.
Other events and fundraising include:
Wendy is making tablet (available at Anstruther Golf Club); there's a Beetle Drive at Anstruther Golf Club; Matt is doing the 'Highland Swing' - a 130ft bungee swing at Killiecrankie; and everyone is doing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2026.".
We have also been donated various fourball vouchers from Golf Clubs around Scotland which will be getting raffled off and also thanks to Ross McCrae at One Four Nine Group who have donated a pair of tickets for the Scotland v Fiji Nations Championship rugby match at Murrayfield.
Thank you in advance for your donations.
