Story

Billie is a very happy little girl, who at 6 months of age was diagnosed with a stage 3 cancerous brain tumour. She spent 3 solid months in hospital undergoing 9 surgeries. She is unable to feed orally so now has a gastrostomy and because her tumour was on her brain stem she is slightly delayed developmentally and has trouble regulating her breathing and heart rate. She has endured further surgeries due to central line infections. She now endures fortnightly chemo treatments, which can cause her to become very unwell as she has no immune system to protect her from any ugs or infections. Billie's mum and dad had to give up their business in order to care for Billie and her sister Amelia and have since unfortunately seperated. The family have had to move house as home used to be above the pub they ran. Mum is now Billie's full time carer and is needing to fix up the back garden to make it a safe and relaxing sanctuary for Billie and her sister to play between hospital visits. We are appealing for funds to get her the outside play area she needs so she isn't cooped up inside the house all day, everyday. £1000 wont cover the full costs, but will help to get things started.
