Daniel Burke is the 8 Year Old Son of Philip & Lisa Burke.

He has a condition called Bi-lateral Cholesteatoma. He has constant discharge from both ears and is severely hearing impaired. In rare cases this infection can lead to a brain abscess or meningitis. He has had 40+ hours of surgery in his life (so far). Daniel also has ASD.

The NHS loan Daniel the Bone Conducted Hearing Headset but we are responsible for it.
The Leicestershire Education Authority loan Daniel the FM radio equipment used in school but we are responsible for it.

We can’t get insurance for Daniel’s hearing equipment (circa. £3500) because it's too high a risk.

It has been suggested by The National Deaf Children's Society that we set up an account for him and hope that good kind-hearted people will support Daniel through his education.

Our Aim.
To provide funds for replacement hearing aid equipment should it be lost, stolen or damaged.
To provide funds for Daniel to have private consultations if the need arises.
To provide Daniel with any learning support equipment.
