Dad loved his church, St Mary’s in Guildford and it held a very special place in his heart. As well as regular attendances and the church being the centre of his social network, it is also mum’s final resting place and where dad’s only grandchild was baptised.

In particular, dad was very passionate in making sure that the Memorial Garden at the church was maintained and looking respectful.

Therefore, my brother and I ask that, in lieu of flowers, you make a donation to ensure that this special area, where our parents will soon be together again, will look beautiful and respectful.

This would mean a lot to the family since the Memorial Garden is our mum and dad's final resting place and would be their lasting legacy.
