Dementia NI is a relatively new charity which aims to challenge the stigma of a dementia diagnosis by raising awareness about dementia across Northern Ireland. Along with promoting the rights of people living with dementia, the charity offers training to organisations and the public on how to support people living with dementia through education and suggested steps to make the places they visit more enabling and dementia-friendly. The charity offers individuals living with dementia a safe and secure environment to come together, with the support of staff and volunteers.

Support for those living with dementia is something which is very close to our family and along with 3 others I will be walking the Inca Trail to raise money for this extremely worthwhile cause and we would love your support.
