I've recently joined the Kirkcudbright RNLI Life boat station!

To help do my bit, I'd like to try and raise £1000 by running, for the first time, the Kirkcudbright Half Marathon, which takes place next weekend (Saturday 25th May)

All the funds raised will go directly towards the Kirkcudbright Life Boat station and will help to continue the vital operations and work they do within our community and more importantly, the job of keeping us all safe at sea.

I'm aware times are tough and tight, but if you have a pound to spare, it'll go a long way. Joining the Kirkcudbright life boat crew has made me appreciate and more aware of the hard work and personal time the volunteers put in, not just in the boat, but behind the scenes to keep the station running.

More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.
