Mae is the 9 year old daughter of a friend of ours, she has had a cancerous brain tumour called a Medulloblastoma and we would like to do something special for her, to look forward to, once her treatment is complete. Following the successful removal of the tumour in September, Mae is currently undergoing 48 weeks of chemotherapy after dealing with 6 weeks of radiotherapy late last year.
We would like to raise as much as possible in order to send Mae and her family to Disneyland and to do this we will be holding a 'Family Day' at Saffron Walden Football Club on Sunday 27th August. Entry will be £5 for adults including a match programme, children will be free. The day will include:

Face Painting
Bouncy Castle
Many Fun stalls
Raffle with prizes kindly donated to us by local businesses, including meals at the Axe & Compass in Arkesden, Eight Bells in Saffron Walden, The Cricketers in Rickling Green, tickets to concerts at the O2 and many more.

Sealed bid auction hosted by Kevin Henrys Estate Agents with prizes including a meal for 4 at Jamie Oliver's 15 in London and a Family pass with meal at Jimmy's Farm in Suffolk.

If we manage to achieve this ambitious total any extra monies will be donated to charities.
