As a lot of you are aware Callum, Mr C our son, suffered a life changing moment a couple of weeks ago at the age of 14 by having what is called a spinal stroke, this is a very very rare trauma especially in the young, it means from chest down Callum has no feeling or use of his legs and this will mean the use of a wheelchair for the rest of his life,we want to raise money so we can get him a new wheelchair plus help with the modifications that will be needed for our family home for when he is finally discharged from hospital, any amount will be gratefully received and will be a step closer to getting some normality back into this brave young man's life.
He had dreams of working with animals as a vet nurse and had visited Plumpton college a number of times as he had wanted to do his training there once he had finished school.
He is a determined young soul and seems to of taken the news of this very well but time will take its toll I'm sure and if we can do as much as we can now it will aid his rehabilitation and we can get him back home to his loved ones soon xx
