We are raising money to fund a memorial bench in Somersall Park to commemorate the life of our dear little friend Oscar Neillings. 🤍
Oscar was a very keen friend of the park and was often to be found there- walking along the dam; admiring the ducks and having lots of fun on the playground, so we are hoping the bench will be installed there.
Only if you are able and would like to, please add a donation of any size.
Any money over the cost of the bench will be given directly to his family: Steph, Mark, Maxwell and Poppy to help them though this utterly devastating heartbreak.
It is really important to them that Oscar's memory lives on. 🕊

3 days agoThank you so much to everyone that has donated. I'm delighted to say, we've ordered a picnic bench for the playground at Somersall Park in Oscar's memory. We are hoping it will be installed in time for Oscar's birthday in the summer. Thank you all again for making this possible and also for your generosity which means that Oscar's family can book a much needed holiday when they are ready. Gilly xx

We have the full support of 'Friends of Somersall Park' and I have been in touch with the Greenspaces team at Chesterfield Borough Council who are also totally behind Oscar's memorial bench. 🕊 🦕 🚒

What a beautiful idea - the bench in the park will be a lovely memory of a gorgeous little boy called Oscar and every time I walk through the park and see the bench I will think of Oscar his family ❤️
