I've raised £500 to Help Rotary Club of Henllys to support Local, National and International Charities

Meet Ronnie the Henllys Rotary Bear, Ronnie is on an adventure to raise awareness of the work that Henllys Rotary does raising funds for Local, National and International charities. Covid may have postponed our fundraising events but we still want and need to support our normal charities who are working so hard through this pandemic.
Its World Polio day on the 24th October and for Ronnie's first challenge he is going to travel 1240 miles, the distance between the two countries still suffering from polio. Rotary have been working with its partners since 1998 to eradicate the disease and have reduced cases by 99.9%. this summer the World Health Organisation announced that in all African regions transmission of the polio virus had stopped.
We are asking that you kindly donate to help us raise funds for end polio now, a amazing organisation helping provide vaccines to prevent the transmission of the polio virus. All money raised will have a triple impact thanks to the 2-1 matched funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. this means every £1 you donate end polio will receive £3
Ronnie will be on plenty of adventures, promoting different charities and campaigns that Henllys Rotary are supporting so look out for more information soon.
