Yes, before you say it, I am aware that £9m is a large sum and that it is incredibly unlikely that we can raise it, but if you don't try you'll never know, so here goes:

The options available for shoring up the Sidmouth Seafront have been under discussion for years and we are no further forward, yet falls like the one pictured are happening with an alarming regularity.
The latest report suggests that IF all parties can agree and IF the necessary funding can be found, that nothing will happen for 4 to 6 years. This may be too little to late.
We need to act now to guarantee that the picturesque Sidmouth seafront stays picturesque.
This money will go towards Option 4B, a series of breakwaters which are believed to not only afford the best protection but also to require the least upkeep in the future.
