Abingdon Town Amateur Boxing Club are a non profitable organisation providing an excellent service to the local community. The current and future members would benefit greatly from a permanent premises, a new venue which will also service many local charities and organisations. Creating a hub for the community of Abingdon, using the sport of boxing to bring people and local businesses together.

Please join Abingdon Extreme Fundraisers The Gift of Giving on their journey of big and crazy charity events in 2023. We have one event for each month left in 2023, in order to reach our £5000 target, we need to raise £625 for each event. We will provide regular updates which we are sure will keep you entertained! So please keep track of our progress and donate when you can.

The next charity event will be held on the 27th May, we are going to be running a full marathon along the Thames path, this is going to be the hardest one for mind over matter!

22nd April – Running a half marathon across the Seven Sisters – COMPLETED

27th May - Full marathon along the Thames path – COMPLETED

30th June – 87 mile bike ride across the Ridgeway - COMPLETED

29th/30th July – Running the 3 peaks in under 20 hours - COMPLETED

25th August - Paul Blair - Wing walking - COMPLETED

28th/29th September - Rowing the river Wye in a homemade raft - COMPLETED

21st October - Oxford to Abingdon in a wheelchair challenge- COMPLETED

For our next event on 11th/12th November we will be climbing 21 peaks in 2 days.
However, we are collaborating with a great charity called Hope and Vision Communities to complete this event.
