I've raised £2000 to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young and The Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust, both support young people with life threatening conditions.

Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions, CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life threatening cardiac conditions and promotes and develops heart screening programs.
The Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust gives young people the best chance to go on to achieve their future goals and ambitions, rebuilding confidence and re-establishing self belief through sailing.
Our challenge is to ride our motorbikes from the Isle of Wight to the the extreme compass points of mainland GB. We will visit The Lizzard, St Davids Point, John O’Groats and Lowestoft. We will call in at Largs, HQ of The Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust and CRY at Leatherhead. We are COVID safe and will not be stopping in any areas of local lockdown. This will be monitored throughout our trip.
With the money raised we can continue to carry out heart screenings for young people in schools and help young people who have suffered with cancer rebuild their confidence and achieve their future goals.
In July 2006, my brother-in-law Andrew Stevens, suddenly collapsed and died of an undiagnosed heart condition. Every year family and friends raise money so that heart screenings can take place in schools so that early diagnosis can be achieved. and awareness can be raised. This is my contribution to two great cause's.
