The Delapre Dragons under 8's have had a fantastic season, only losing 1 league game all season.The team have been entered into a very special cup that will be held at the famous Benfica Stadium in Lisbon Portugal. It will be a under 9's tournament, and this is a great opportunity for the team to travel and play against other teams from all over Europe. What a great experience and exposure for the boys.The tournament is in June 2018, entry fee is £700 per team which has already been covered, although there is an associated cost to the flights, travel and accomodation. The intention is to stay in either of the 3 team bungalows situated near the stadium, where the team will be picked up by a team bus each morning and taken to the stadium.The funding will go 100% towards the boys flights, travel and accommodation.
