This is in memory of our much loved club member, Captain, coach, humorist, taxi driver par excellence and the best of friends, Steve " Badger " Green who has sadly been " given out " to soon.
In his honour we at E&MWCC intend to create a bursary for local children that would not otherwise be able to experience what inspired Steve through out his all too short life. Each year we will ask the headteachers of the local schools to recommend several children who they believe will benefit and appreciate the opportunity to play cricket at our club.
So far there have been three generations of Green's that have profoundly contributed to our club and this bursary should ensure that Steve legacy will extend far beyond his expectation.
