During our Ryhill Football Camp at Silverwood Scout Camp a dog walker abandoned their labrador because it wouldn't recall. Our football team and parents tried last night for hours but failed to capture the dog. This afternoon the dog has returned to camp with a badly fractured rear leg. We've been able to comfort the dog and take to the vets to discover the chip hasn't been registered. If the owner fails to come forward within seven days the dog will be euthanised, as they abandoned their dog once it's unlikly we feel it will be claimed so we would like to help. The vet has estimated bills between £1500 and £3500 depending on how severe the break is. Any amount raised more than is needed will be donated to a local dog welfare charity. Please support us.
