Back in April 2017 Auntie Dot sadly passed away. Auntie Dot was a lovely lady, she will always have a special place in my heart. The team of nurses and doctors at Ward 19, Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham were fantastic and looked after Auntie Dot and the family during what was a very upsetting and very difficult time for everyone. I am doing the Birmingham half marathon on 15th October in memory of Auntie Dot, I'm also trying to raise as much funds for Ward 19 to allow them to continue their cancer research and hopefully fund more equipment to help care for other patients in the way they looked after our family.
