In April 2012 there were 176 courageous people climbed Ben Nevis in memory of my son Joe Wilson. A truly beautiful young man, Joe was sadly taken from us in December 2011 from an undiagnosed heart condition. Joe was one of these rare people in the world who made you feel brilliant about yourself, when he spoke with you it felt like you were the single most important person in the world.

This year on 27 April, several of Joe's close friends are once again climbing Ben Nevis and I am grateful to be joining them. I hope I don't hold them up too much.

We are raising funds for several charities including the beatson and changing faces. We are also raising funds for the Table Tennis Club named after Joe which I set up in September 2012 and which we run very much with Joe's caring and inclusive ethos.Joe Wilson TT Club link
