Last August Becky Rainforth and I were lucky enough to have our dream wedding in Indonesia on the Gili Islands, Lombok.

This August Lombok has been shook multiple times by disastrous earthquakes, causing large scale destruction and loss of life.

We met some of the nicest people possible whilst in Lombok last year, including the lady who helped organise our perfect day, Dewi Ayu, who has lost her family home is currently staying in a relief tent with her family.

We feel compelled to do something to help in what little way we can and so we are trying to raise some funds to donate to Dewi and her family to help them to start to rebuild their lives.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated - I put a target originally of £300 on here, purely because it asks you to. I did not know whether it would be possible to reach that, exceed it or just raise £100...we kindly received £300 within a day. I have now set an more ambitious target of £1500 - but any amount I am positive will be greatly received and will help start the recovery process.

This fundraiser is for a personal contact of mine in Lombok. The proceeds will go directly to her to be used how her family deem best for themselves and their village.
