Nobody chooses to become an addict, and it can be devastating. Many addicts are trying to blot out horrific childhood trauma that most of us cannot begin to imagine. And at a time when more and more people need help, budgets are being severely cut - by up to 60% in some areas. Build on Belief helps people suffering from addiction to rebuild their confidence and tackle their problem, by organising meaningful activites, skills, training and a safe place to go when treatment centres are unavailable. It's run mainly by volunteers, many of whom are ex-addicts themselves, and nobody is turned away. We're raising money by doing a bike ride on Sept 23rd from Richmond to Windsor, please help if you are able.
