Story

Nearly a year has passed since Nannie Adams passed away and went to be with our beloved Grampie. The last few days of her life were hard for us all, as we watched her suffer in a way she shouldn't have. It was only with the help and support of Freeland House Witney that Nannie was able to pass away peacefully with her daughters at her side.

Throughout the last week of her life Freeland House made it possible for my Nan to have her last smiles, cuddles and moments with her family in peace, and in an environment where she felt loved. Freeland House had become her home and the staff there had always been perfect. Without them her treasured last moments would have been a lot harder.

I am raising money for Freeland House by running the Great South Run, in memory of Nannie Adams and to say a big thank you to every single one of their staff. The money I raise will go on to help families like mine through these tough times at Freeland House, who are there not only for the residents but also for their families. Any amount – large or small – will help to bring peace and comfort to those people.
Thank you to all who donate, and a big thank you to Freeland House.
xx
