Story
My daughter Sophie has joined World Challenge Project Independence to travel to Cambodia in July 2018. Here she will live amongst the locals taking part in a community project which will benefit the people of the village. 85 % of Cambodians live in the countryside making a living from agriculture, but they often live in a great poverty. It is one of poorest countries in Asia and long-term economic development remains a challenge. Sophie would very much like to help make a difference to the everyday lives of the Cambodian people.

Sophie, her Auntie Kirstie and our friend Kate have signed up for Durham Muddy Mayhem 5k to raise money for this expedition and we would greatly appreciate your support. Every little helps towards our target of £500. The money will be used by World Challenge to fund Sophie's travel costs and contribute to the community project within the village they will be staying. Thank you for your generosity. xx
