Story
Thieves have stolen a part of our village.
On the 23rd July, thieves stole the lead from All Saints church, Greetham. I am vicar of the parish and both warden David Ashton-Hill and myself are devastated. Greetham is a small hamlet and the church is the only community building. It is dear to all our hearts and we need to replace the roof as soon as possible to prevent further damage. But we need help to do so, as although the church is insured, it does not cover all the damage caused.
We are both angry and sad that some people feel they can just come and take what they want and have no regard for the damage that they cause. All Saints has served this village since medieval times yet in one night, theives have left it vulnerable and in need of help."
My wife Linda has set this page up to support Greetham. On behalf of the PCC we would be very grateful for any help you can give. Let's try and help this small community rebuild their church. All monies donated will be given to the PCC of Greetham All Saints.
We thank you for your support - Charles Patrick, Vicar, All Saints
