On the 25th May 2017 we received the devastating news that Andy, My husband, my life, my world has Cancer. He has a soft tissue tumour in the side of the neck, Cancer in two Lymph nodes and Cancer in his Tonsil and Tonsil bed. This has brought us to our knees and has has rocked our world but as a family and supported by our friends and people around us we are determined to beat it.

We have spent a long time building up Andy's Business, Bradfield Decorators and we have some fantastic customers but we are having to put the business on the back burner for now as Andy is not going to be able to work, potentially until after christmas. This is having a massive effect on our finances as you can imagine, Andy has gone from working 5 to 7 days a week to help and accommodate all of his customers needs and requirements, to not being able to work at all. We have tried to make a claim on our life insurance but it has been turned down as we are not covered for Critical illness. This has left us in a very sticky situation and struggling to make ends meet and pay the bills.

We are a very proud family and we work very hard to make sure that our girls have everything that we can give them but we are now having to swallow our pride and ask for financial help from anyone that can help. People that know us will understand how very difficult it is for us to ask for help as we have never needed to, no matter how bad we have been in the past, we have always managed and coped.

But things change and we need some help, no matter how small it is, anything will be gratefully received as it will help us a great deal during these next few months.
