6 months ago I entered the Velo Birmingham, a 100mile cycle ride on closed road having not done any real cycling before. I thought it would be a great way to see the sights, no cars, riding through the countryside & stop off for a nice lunch & a pint on the way. How hard can it be...actually grueling & very sore. 8 -10 hours in the saddle can be eye watering.

As this has become a huge challenge for me, to help keep me focused I have decided to try & support a Polish dance group, I have been involved in for many years. We are performing in a National Folklore Festival next February & this will help get us there.
