In the summer of 2018 I have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Romania with Girlguiding International to take part in a two week service project. I will be accompanied by 15 other girls and 4 leaders. During our time there we will be working with the children in an orphanage or a special school. I believe that this is a cause worth being a part of because of the serious neglect that the orphans have faced. Also as an A-Level psychology student I have learnt about the long term psychological damage the orphans can face, making me even more determined to be a part of this project. The money that I am raising pays for my travel to get me to Romania however equipment is on top of that. All donations are massively appreciated, no matter what the size!
