Story

I have recentley been diagnosed with a rare form of vasculitus, which is an auto immune disease ,from that i took a secondary spinal chord stroke, i have been left unable to walk and am now paraplegic,I worked for 25 years in NHS up until i took sick this March 2017 I am 53 and female. i live in my lovely spacious apartment for 12 years but is 3 flights up, we are hiring a stairclimber at the moment to allow me to go to appointments and outings but could not keep this up longterm, the cost of a new one is £6,800 + vat, we have tried for other forms of funding to help but so far no response, if I had a stairclimber of my own it would give me the ability to stay in my apartment and have a better quality of life being able to go out whenever i want to.

Thanks for reading my story
