Breath controlled Atlantic voyage:

I'm raising £30,000 for 3 incredible charities.

Natasha Lambert has Quadriplegic cerebral palsy but is able to skipper a 46ft catamaran using only her breath and a system invented by her father.

This November she will sail across the Atlantic ocean. Departing from Gran Canaria, stopping off in Cape Verde, then continuing on to the Caribbean! A total of 3000 nautical miles and 3 weeks away from land, a huge feat for anyone, let alone someone in a wheelchair.

This is her first expedition since loosing her mother to cancer and she is determined to make this trip matter...

Ellen McArthur Cancer Trust - taking young people living through and beyond cancer sailing. Natasha has always been a supporter of this incredible charity but now more than ever understands the immense need for these young people to know there is life beyond the hospital walls.

RNLI - the charity that saves lives at sea. Anyone who enjoys being on, in or under the water around the UK should be continually grateful for this wonderful charity. From medical emergencies to critical equipment failures, there are volunteers willing to rescue those in difficulty 24/7. We should all be very proud that our nation has such a resource.

Calvert Lakes - provides activity holidays for people with disabilities. For Natasha it offers so much more, freedom and adventure. Natasha first tried sailing with the Calvert Trust and fell in love with being on the water. Her trip to their lake District centre inspired the Sip-Puff system.
