We are needing to raise funds to hold a light Switch on Event in Barrow on Saturday 18th November. As you may already be aware funding is no longer available and in order for us to bring this much loved event to the town we require money to pay for the important logistical equipment needed but as we did last year we would also love to be able to give something to the children to make them smile so need money in order for us to do some of the fun things we have planned. This event is put on solely for the benefit of the local community and is being run by local volunteers. For the locals by the locals. Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it so all we are asking is if you could spare £1 or more then ever penny would be appreciated. Any funds over will be given to local charities with money that is being raised for them on the day. This whole event is not for profit and all people taking part are local and volunteering. We really hope as a town we can raise the funds and support this event. Thankyou very much :-)
