Story
I'm raising £1,000 for st james primary school in Glossop.
Long story short, my 4 year old son (Ray) has autism and finds alot of everyday activities hard. He could be no longer be supported in normal nusery and this is when st james school stepped in.
They invited Ray into there SEN class, which gives Ray the extra support needed.
This might sound like a small thing to do but without them doing that either my wife or I would have had to leave our job in order to look after Ray.
Since being in the school Ray has improved in all areas. The staff are great and Ray often access the community.
I want to give what I can back as a thank you and as such I am taking part in the world championship coal race in april. This is a 1km race carrying 50kg of coal.
Anyone who is going through similar but maybe haven't landed as lucky as we have. I am happy to chat. Please message me, i might not be able to sort everything out but i know myself having a chat with someone who is going through similar really helps.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
