We have set ourselves the challenge to go to the top of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in uk and raise some funds along the way for G5 Evolution Martial Arts to help fund the schools mini bus.

For those of you who know me, will know G5 has been a massive part of my families life for the last 9 years and has taught my children self discipline, respect and valuable life skills that money cant buy. G5 is a not for profit organisation and all funds are placed directly back into the club for the benefit of the students. A mini bus will create new dimensions to the way students train. It will introduce opportunities for students to train outside of their comfort zones of the DOJO and to explore other aspects of their physical and mental abilities in the outside world with their training. It will give students the provision to maximise their training schedules with excursions to our Poole Dojo and other outdoor pursuits to help with endurance. Towards the end of last year I set a target of reaching 3000 to help fund the mini bus but since February this year other work commitments took priority and I have not been able to dedicate the time needed to achieve this. So I'm asking you all for your help and support to help us make a start towards making this a reality.

This epic journey begins with Kelly setting off from Cornwall, I will be catching her up en route somewhere in the North West, then meeting up with my brothers in Lancashire for the next leg of the journey onwards and upwards to Scotland.

Training is already in progress, but im heavily lacking behind on this one!! We will post regular updates of our journey and share with you the highs and lows of this massive challenge.
