Bethany is a 3 year old girl with mild cerebral palsy and an undiagnosed condition with the white matter in her brain as a result of this she suffers from high muscle tone in her bottom half.

This time last year she went for her first mri scan where they noticed these issues and we were told that it would be a degenerative condition one day her memory and muscle growth would just stop and she would regress and pass away.

We were told it would be probably be sooner than later and we should use our time to make memories and take pictures with her.

She seemed to be doing good until december when she started to tighten up even further didn't want to sit up or eat just wanted to lie in bed her first real xmas she could be excited about and enjoy was spent in the royal childrens hospital in glasgow.

They made her feel so special and fussed over my son and her and me and my partner thought for a little while that was it this was her regression starting.

After an operation she showed improvement and was discharged on new years eve (or our xmas eve that year-as her brother didnt want to celebrate it without her there).

Since then we have had many struggles, hospital visits and adaptations made for her needs and she still continues to smile through the pain and brighten up any room she enters.

Every day is a blessing every doctors appt she makes it to is an achievement.

She is and always will be a fighter and although we dont know how much time we have with her, her medical team are hopeful she will live a happy life.

So we want to make this xmas extra special, she loves watching her brother on his bike and longs to join him out and about but we need your help to buy a special therapy trike to meet her needs.
