Story
As most of you know Dougie passed away last week after a short illness. As anyone who knew him knows he was a kind , gentle and very generous man who would help anyone.
We would like to give him the send off we all agree he deserves with a little help from his friends, we could make this happen.
Dougie worked as many things. He was a coal miner, a football referee, a football coach for Foxton primary school, he also worked in the co-op on the cheese counter. For his last Job he became a prison officer and he proudly did this job for 28 years he became a well loved and respected man within the Prison as an officer, work colleague and friend. Dougie made everyone he met smile and he never had a bad word to say about anyone.
