At approximately 0630hrs Tuesday morning beverley (mummy cooksey)was attacked near to where the Kirby and west milk distribution warehouse is located (the small little bridge as you have gone by Kirby and west) by a black man with no particular accent but how he spoke was in a street/gangster manner. crime reference number: 17000380204
He jumped out of the bushes, of which he was hiding in, and in a intimating manner told my mum to hand over her phone, money and her backpack (that she was carrying on her back), through a state of surreal shock my mum replied with ‘fuck off!’ it was then he punched my mum in her her face with full force and again shouted at her for her to hand him over what he wanted, again she told him to Fuck off and again he punched her in her in the face and another punch full on injuring her nose. He then shouted at her to hand over her possessions but she did not. By this time, she was on the ground and he proceeded to full forcibly boot my mum several times in her ribs and near her hips all whilst demanding she hand over her phone, money, and backpack throughout this ordeal my mum was screaming and telling him to fuck off!
She managed to get back up and run back towards Kirby and west knowing that there would be people inside. It was then he ran after her again. THIS WOMAN is one of the most loving,caring thoughtful people you could ever meet - shes a mother to lots of us local ravers and zoe and austyn thought it would be a nice thing to buy her some flowers and hopefully raise enoigh money to send her somewhere relaxing for a weekend just to show her everyone cares about her x
