On 22nd November 2025, the legend that was Brian Chapman, known affectionately to all as Chappers, peacefully passed away whilst in the Luton & Dunstable Hospital having lost a final battle with cancer. Chappers' lived and breathed Dunstable Town Cricket Club for over 50 years and in his time was Club Captain, Groundsman, Coach and latterly President for 17 years. He loved being involved in and seeing the development of junior cricketers and so, rather than flowers for his funeral, we are asking for donations towards the refurbishment of the indoor nets at the Club - he would have loved to see this facility brought back to it's original glory providing a top class practice facility that so few clubs can offer!
