Story

Caitlin is a young girl of 18 . She became ill four years ago and was diagnosed with Gastroparaesis ( paralysis of the gut ) .Caitlin was hospitalised for nine months , where she went through various procedures and operations , none of which were successful . Caitlin returned home with feeding tubes that went directly into her bowel where she was to receive her nutrition. Unfortunately these were not successful and Caitlin had various admissions in to her local hospital . Since the end of August 2015 , Caitlin has attended her local hospital every day for treatment . We are four years on since she initially became unwell and her condition is deteriorating. Caitlin has a port o cath inserted in her chest where she receives her treatment . Caitlin has had three bouts of Septicemia this year , and is very susceptible to getting infections because of her immune system being so poor . She attends hospital everyday , seven days a week for treatment . Two months ago , Caitlin went down to London to see a Neurogastroentrologist who has after such a long time diagnosed Caitlin with a number of different conditions , Gastroparaesis , Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome , Rumination Syndrome , Postural Tachycardia Syndrome , Bacterial Overgrowth in the Gut , Malnutrition , chronic Electrolyte depletion and The Vascular form of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome . He has recommended that she see Clinicians that specialise in these conditions and get the treatment she so desperately needs . Any donation will be so gratefully received as Caitlin so desperately needs some quality of life .
