Under 14s Charity Cycle Ride for Chris
Chris, who is the Dad of one of our under 14s players, CJ, was diagnosed with Leukaemia last year. He has since been undergoing treatment, which has been a really hard time for them all. All of the under 14s players and their families would like to raise some funds to support their teammate and his family, as well as supporting the Leukaemia UK charity, which provides life saving research and care to support people affected by blood cancer.
On Friday 31st March, the team will be doing a 'Kids v Parents Virtual Four Nations Cycle Ride', starting at Murrayfield, across to the Aviva Stadium, down to the Principality Stadium, then across to Twickenham, with the final leg finishing at Camelot! The boys will also be offering a car washing service on the same day.
Your donations, no matter how big or small, would be much appreciated by all involved, and particularly by Chris, Sue & CJ. Thank you!
UPDATE: Things haven’t gone as planned and Chris is now on a different course of treatment that is relatively new (UCLH did the trials). Chris and Sue have decided to bring their wedding forward but on a much smaller scale and there will be a MASSIVE party after Chris has had all his treatment. All of their family and friends are wanting so badly to smash the target and help towards their special day...
A quick message from Chris and Sue: We are so so grateful for everyone that has donated and we are blown away. Love to you all ❤️
